Before joining Jones & Associates in 2006, Dana accrued 18 years of experience working with various private consulting firms and public entities in both Texas and Utah.  The majority of her career has been focused on municipal engineering. Dana appreciates the diverse nature of her work with cities, which includes the design and construction of infrastructure projects, conducting studies, and reviewing developments.  She values the relationships she has built with city personnel and public works staff, contractors, and other consultants.

Dana is a Certified Floodplain Manager and serves as the Floodplain Administrator for several clients of Jones & Associates. She is also an active member of the Utah Floodplain and Stormwater Management Association (UFSMA), where she currently holds the position of Secretary.  Additionally, Dana is a member of the Utah City Engineers Association (UCEA) and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
