Taylor began his professional journey as a GIS analyst in the United States Marine Corps, where he played a crucial role in supporting military operations across a diverse range of global locations. During his years of service, Taylor honed his skills in geospatial analysis and developed a keen understanding of how GIS technology can be used in high-stakes environments. He was honorably discharged after five years, marking the end of a distinguished military career.

Upon transitioning to civilian life, Taylor brought his expertise to the U.S. Department of State in Washington D.C., where he continued to apply his GIS knowledge to complex geopolitical and administrative challenges. He then transitioned into municipal support, joining Murray City as a GIS analyst. In this role, he was instrumental in advancing the City’s technological capabilities, including the management of its drone program as a licensed drone pilot.

Currently, Taylor is a key contributor at Jones and Associates, where he provides comprehensive construction inspection, land survey, and drone data collection support. Taylor’s diverse experience and technical acumen make him a valuable asset to our team.
