After completing her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Utah, Sarah began her career in California where she performed structural calculations for multi-story commercial projects in the San Andreas fault zone. She became a licensed professional engineer in California before stepping away from engineering to focus on her family and to build several start-up companies with her husband. During this hiatus from engineering, Sarah began her service on the Weber County Planning Commission where she discovered her passion for community building. This led her to return to the engineering world, now specializing in municipal engineering. Sarah brings a unique perspective into how civil infrastructure impacts residents and business owners in project areas. She enjoys collaborating with municipalities and their elected leaders to provide the information needed to develop beneficial and cost-effective solutions for their communities.
