Jones & Associates Consulting Engineers is seeking a qualified Engineer to perform engineering services. We are a Civil Engineering consulting firm located in South Ogden, Utah. We specialize in services to Municipalities, Counties and Service Districts that are located in northern Utah.
Salary: $32.00 – $58.00 / hour (plus benefits) – Full Time Position

Required Qualifications:
- BS Civil Engineering Degree (minimum)
- Experience in the Design and Construction of Water, Sewer, Storm Drain, Streets, Irrigation, and Parks Projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong Communication Abilities (Written and Oral)
- Good Team Member
- Positive, Friendly Personality
- Professional Appearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed Professional Engineer (Utah)
- Previous Municipal Engineering Experience
- Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D
- Proficiency in Water, Sewer, and Storm Drain Modeling
- Proficiency in the Design and Construction of Water, Sewer, Storm Drain, Streets, Irrigation, and Parks Projects
- Proficiency in developing Capital Facilities Plans (Water, Sewer, Storm Drain, Streets and Parks)
Job Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Provide General Engineering Services to Municipal and Governmental Agencies
- Provide Engineering Designs, Calculations and Computer Modeling for Water, Sewer, Storm Drain, Streets, Irrigation, and Parks Projects
- Prepare Contract Specifications and Project Bidding Documents
- Provide Review and Guidance and Prepare Reports for Municipal Storm Water Compliance
- Review and Approve Development Plans
- Prepare Project Cost Estimates
- Construction Management of Municipal Improvement Projects
