Jones & Associates Consulting Engineers is seeking a qualified GIS Specialist to provide mapping and geographic data analysis/management services. We are a Civil Engineering consulting firm located in South Ogden, Utah. We specialize in services to Municipalities, Counties and Service Districts that are located in northern Utah.
Salary: $22.00 – $46.00 / hour – Full Time Position

Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Current ESRI GIS Software Suite, Particularly ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
- Ability to Perform Data Validation, Correction, Queries, and Editing in GIS
- Expertise in Map Production, Spreadsheets, Graphs, and Other Analytical Products
- Artistic and Visual Presentation Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong Communication Abilities (Written and Oral)
- Good Team Member
- Positive, Friendly Personality

- Professional Appearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python, GIS App Development and Database/Report Programming
- Ability to Lead and Effectively Manage a Team of 3-5 People
- Goal Oriented and Able to Implement Innovative Measures to Improve Efficiency
- Ability to Analyze Problems and Create Solutions to Resolve System Issues
- Work Experience in the Field of Civil Engineering
- Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D
- Water, Sewer, and Storm Drain Modeling Experience
Job Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Data Collection with GPS and Field Collection with ArcGIS Collector
- Verify Accuracy and Ensure Quality of Field and Mapping Data
- Manage Infrastructure Databases for Multiple Municipal Clients in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
- Create Presentation-Level Mapping for Online Public Use and Field Work Activity
- Provide Client Training and Support
