Jones & Associates Consulting Engineers is seeking a qualified Engineer In Training (E.I.T.) to perform entry-level engineering services. We are a Civil Engineering consulting firm located in South Ogden, Utah. We specialize in services to Municipalities, Counties and Service Districts that are located in northern Utah.
Salary: $26.00 – $30.00 / hour – Full Time Position

Required Qualifications:
- BS Civil Engineering Degree (minimum)
- FE Exam Passing Score
- Computer Aided Drafting Capability (AutoCAD / Civil 3D)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong Communication Abilities (Written and Oral)
- Good Team Member
- Positive, Friendly Personality
- Professional Appearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Work Experience in the Field of Civil Engineering
- Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D
- Water, Sewer, and Storm Drain Modeling Experience
- Experience in the Design and Construction of Water, Sewer, Storm Drain, Streets, Irrigation, and Parks Projects
- Desire to Pursue Professional Licensure
Job Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Provide General Engineering Services to Municipal and Governmental Agencies
- Provide Engineering Designs, Calculations and Computer Modeling for Water, Sewer, Storm Drain, Streets, Irrigation, and Parks Projects
- Prepare Contract Specifications and Project Bidding Documents
- Provide Review and Guidance and Prepare Reports for Municipal Storm Water Compliance
- Review and Approve Development Plans
- Prepare Project Cost Estimates
- Supervise Construction of Municipal Improvement Projects
